Porta Gerone, together with Porta Sotto la Chiesa, was one of two entrances to the village. Porta Mazzamorello and Porta della Valle led instead to the agricultural areas down the slopes of the hillside. It is a simple access way with a semicircular arch and a rear barrel vault made from stone and mortar.
